Refund & Cancellation Policy
1. Our Platform & Services
TuitionPao is an online platform that connects students, parents and tutors. We provide services such as Tutor Registration, Profile Creation, Premium Listing, Student Lead Sharing and Tutor Dashboard access.
TuitionPao acts only as a facilitator between tutors and students. We do not guarantee a fixed number of leads, demo classes, tuition confirmations, student responses, earnings or successful conversions.
Success depends on multiple factors including tutor profile, experience, communication, pricing, availability, subject demand and student preferences.
2. Payment Terms
- All service fees are displayed before payment.
- Payments are collected in advance unless otherwise mentioned.
- Payments are processed through secure payment gateways.
- The user is responsible for reviewing the selected plan, pricing, features, validity period and applicable policies before completing payment.
- By completing payment, you agree to our Terms & Conditions and this Refund Policy.
3. Refund Policy
All payments made to TuitionPao are generally non-refundable once any purchased service has been delivered or activated.
Refunds will ordinarily not be provided after any of the following:
- Tutor account has been created.
- Profile has been activated.
- Dashboard access has been provided.
- Premium profile listing has been enabled.
- One or more student leads have been shared.
- Any paid service has started.
4. Limited Refund Eligibility
TuitionPao follows a generally non-refundable policy. However, in exceptional cases such as a verified duplicate payment or a verified technical error where no service has been delivered, TuitionPao may review the request. Any refund decision shall be made only after internal verification and in accordance with applicable law.
5. Non-Refundable Situations
- Low number of student leads.
- Student not responding.
- Student rejected tuition.
- Failure to convert leads.
- Change of mind after payment.
- Partial use of services.
- Account inactivity.
- Incorrect information provided by the tutor.
- Violation of TuitionPao policies.
- Suspension due to misuse or fraudulent activity.
- Refund shall not be available once even a single student lead has been viewed, accepted, contacted or used.
- Refund shall not be available if the tutor chooses not to contact the shared lead.
- Refund shall not be available because the tutor and student/parent could not mutually agree on fees, timings, location or any other terms.
- Refund shall not be available after the purchased plan has been partially or fully utilized.
6. Delivery of Service
The services offered by TuitionPao are considered successfully delivered immediately upon the activation of the tutor account, sharing of dashboard access, premium profile activation, or sharing of one or more student leads, whichever occurs first.
Once the tutor has accessed or used even a single student lead provided by TuitionPao, the service shall be deemed fully accepted by the user. From that point onward, the user shall not be entitled to claim any refund, whether the lead converts into a paid tuition or not.
For the purpose of this policy, the service shall also be considered successfully delivered if the tutor has viewed, unlocked, accessed, accepted, downloaded or contacted any student lead shared through TuitionPao. Once any such action has been performed, the service shall be deemed accepted by the user.
TuitionPao only facilitates the connection between tutors and students by providing student enquiries. TuitionPao does not participate in tuition negotiations, fee discussions, demo classes, or the final hiring decision. Therefore, the success or failure of converting a lead into a tuition assignment remains entirely the responsibility of the tutor and the student/parent.
7. Cancellation Policy
Since TuitionPao provides digital services that begin shortly after activation, cancellation requests cannot be accepted once any paid service has been activated.
Users are requested to carefully review all service details before making payment.
8. Refund Processing
If a refund is approved:
- Refund will normally be processed within 5–7 working days.
- The amount will be credited to the original payment method.
- Bank/payment gateway timelines may vary.
9. Chargeback & Payment Disputes
Before initiating a chargeback through your bank or payment provider, please contact TuitionPao Support.
If a chargeback is initiated after the purchased service has already been delivered, TuitionPao reserves the right, subject to applicable law, to suspend or restrict the account while the matter is investigated.
TuitionPao may contest invalid or fraudulent chargeback claims by providing payment records, service activation logs and communication history to the payment provider.
Initiating an invalid or fraudulent chargeback after successful delivery or activation of services may result in temporary suspension or termination of the user account. TuitionPao reserves the right to submit transaction records, service logs, lead usage history and communication records to the payment gateway, bank or financial institution while responding to such disputes, subject to applicable law.
Nothing in this policy limits any consumer rights available under applicable law.
10. User Acknowledgement
By making payment on TuitionPao, you acknowledge that:
- You understand the nature of our services.
- TuitionPao acts only as a facilitator.
- Leads, demos and conversions are not guaranteed.
- You accept the pricing shown before payment.
- You agree to this Refund & Cancellation Policy.
- You agree to the Terms & Conditions of TuitionPao.
